Guest Services Enhanced While Transformation Progresses At Broadway Plaza
Broadway Plaza has offered complimentary valet parking seven days a week since February 2014, and to date has parked more than 98,000 cars as a service to shoppers. As the center nears the milestone of parking the 100,000th car, plans are set for one guest – the person who pulls up the 100,000th car to the valet podium located on Broadway Plaza Street near the promenade fountain – to be greeted with special gifts, including a $250 gift card to use anywhere at Broadway Plaza.
“Offering complimentary valet parking to our shoppers during the update process is just one way we are continuing to deliver memorable guest experiences at Broadway Plaza,” said Shelly Dress, senior property manager at Broadway Plaza. “This celebration is a fun way to thank and appreciate our shoppers, and we anticipate it will happen within the next two weeks.”
As the center continues its transformation, the Macy's Parking Garage at Broadway Plaza is now closed to customers for renovation. During this time and throughout construction, Broadway Plaza is offering complimentary valet parking seven days a week. In addition, guests are encouraged to utilize the center's alternative parking garages – the new South Broadway Garage and the Main Street Garage - while they shop at Macy's, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and more than 35 retailers that are open.
The convenience and experience of guests remain a high priority during these upgrades. Roving Ambassadors are available throughout the property, offering assistance with center information, wayfinding, gift card purchases and more.
Another great resource for Broadway Plaza guests is a fast, fun and effective text-based concierge that was introduced last year. This service allows shoppers to text 925-948-8826 to ask nearly any question about the shopping center and beyond and get an immediate response. Shoppers are currently using the service to make dinner reservations, ask renovation or parking questions, or even assist with locating specific stores and products.
The master plan of the project includes demolishing and rebuilding the parking garages on South Broadway, the expansion of the Macy's for Women store, the remodel of the buildings on the East side of the property between Macy’s and Nordstrom, and improvements to traffic flow and pedestrian areas.
